Kevin Rowley has over 30 years police service the majority of which has been as a Detective in serious crime cases.
Worked on Regional and National Crime Squads investigating highest echelon of criminals. He has extensive knowledge of covert policing techniques especially in the use of overt and covert tactics and is a specialist in the arena of electronic surveillance and the capturing and use of data communications in investigations.
A trained financial investigator using Proceed of Crime Act and Money Laundering legislation in tactical investigations, including Hawala banking and asset removal. An experienced interviewer recently reaccredited to PIP level 2 having conducted numerous interviews ranging from simple to Complex cases in both criminal and civil proceedings
A dynamic and strategic operational Detective Sergeant with a proven ability to lead, develop and implement policies, procedures, budgets and ensure critical operational issues are monitored, investigations are undertaken and high-level advice is provided to ensure consistency in the management of risk investigation issues, in particular within newly formed working environments and agencies.
Currently working and living in Adelaide for the Environmental Protection Authority, team leading in Investigations, Illegal dumping, waste levy and tactical support.
Kevin is currently working on economic and financial benefit investigations and the introduction of new legislation for South Australia in this area.
