Intersol are delighted to be contracted by University College London (UCL) as their external investigation experts and will provide investigation training, advice, and operational support where needed, to UCL staff responsible for conducting workplace inquiries into misconduct, particularly those of a serious nature or where the misconduct might amount to criminality.
This is a vital and significant step by UCL to professionalise even further the response to reports of misconduct within the University and contribute to the safety and wellbeing of students and staff.
This is the first such arrangement in the UK and Intersol are excited to be applying their principles of Extraordinary Case Management (ECM®) for the first time in this sector, so vital when it is often the investigation process that is attacked and undermined.
It will give those reporting, and being reported of, misconduct even more assurance that their cases will dealt with promptly, efficiently, and robustly, adopting many of the principles enshrined within the Pinsent Masons Guidance (2016) and other reviews of university investigations.
